Hi there! Thanks for visiting the K.C. and Company website! My name is Kate Croom and I am the owner and operator at K.C. and Company Dog Services . I am an avid dog lover and dog mom. In 2018 I decided to quit my corporate Graphic Design job to take my "Pup-Passion" and make a business out of it! My husband, Chris, also a dog lover - helps care for the pups who stay in our care on a part time basis.
K.C. and Company is not a kennel. I stand firm with my slogan - "Providing cuddles not cages" in that I provide an in home, personalized and supervised environment for your dog. Your dog will not be left alone in a loud, dark and scary kennel or dog run at night. Dogs will be a part of our pack when they stay in our home. I have 2 large crates and 1 small crate on site. While we do not crate dogs for their entire stay, we do recommended that dogs be crate trained to board with me.

All of our services (daycare, kennel free boarding and dog walking) are very customized. All dogs are heavily vetted prior to being accepted. Only a limited number of daycare dogs and boarders are accepted at a time. This is to ensure safety and quality of care for all dogs during their Pup-cation! We do not breed discriminate. Our home is located in downtown Sandusky, Ohio near Lake Erie. Cedar Point is just a 15 minute drive away!

Dog Walking
There are currently 3 dog walk openings available for 2023* for 3 lucky dogs to join our dog walking pack! Availability and time slots are based on current dog walking schedule:
SPOT 1: 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday at 11:45am
SPOT 2: Thursdays at 12:15/12:30pm (with potential to add more days.)
SPOT 3: 5 days per week Monday-Friday at 10:30/10:45am
I am currently in the end of my 3rd trimester and am not taking on any new walkers until after the new year. Please keep this in mind when considering my services. Walks will resume mid 2023. There is no set date as to when I will return back to work. This will depend on recovery and how our new family adjusts.
Dogs are required to be leash trained and manageable and should be non-aggressive towards both people dogs. A meet and greet will be REQUIRED prior to securing a space.
Walks are $20/walk
Walks are offered from 9am-2pm Monday-Friday.
All walks are 20-30 minutes from time of my arrival to the finish of the walk.
All walks are GPS tracked. A summary of each dog's walk is sent to their owner after every walk.
Dog walking is offered in Sandusky, OH only at this time.
